Duties:
• Leading projects by identifying scope and managing schedules, while overseeing and supporting the team to ensure all project deliverables are met;
• Assist in the development, preparation, modelling, and coordination of architectural designs and displays, architectural drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, using 3D Revit on the ACC platform;
• Monitoring performance of the team and their efficiencies in drawing production, coordination and quality of construction documents;
• Preparing contract and bidding documents;
• Coordinating both internal and external teams to analyze site/space requirements and to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget during the project lifecycle;
• Organizing and hosting project engineering meetings with clients and all members of the team;
• Analyzing project status and addressing client-requested scope changes that may affect schedule or budget;
• Establishing and growing relationships with client(s) with regular contact to keep current on project needs and deliverables;
• Reporting project outcomes, assessing risks and tracking projects based on work plan;
• Organizing and reviewing clash detection coordination models and meetings with clients and consultants;
• Reviewing and coordinating BIM execution plans and coordinating required deliverables with the team;
• Preparing office wide standards for any/all new or updated procedures with ACC collaborate Pro; and
• Maintaining and updating BIM families and standards office wide.
Requirements:
• 1 – 3 year(s) of project management experience is required
• Completion of a three-year college program in architectural technology or a related subject is required
• Certification in architectural technology and related software
• Excellent problem-solving skills and thought-process abilities
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Knowledge of National and Ontario Building Codes
• Strong proficiency in Revit, BIM Collaborate Pro and ability to use them to produce a full set of construction documents
• Ability to read and coordinate all consultant drawings, coordinate comments and resolve issues within the ACC platform
• ACC experience is required
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple project deliverables and maintain budgetary guidelines
• Adaptive to project scope changes
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ability to work independently
• Strong desire to contribute to the team dynamic through outside-of-the-box thinking
• Excellent presentation skills
• Experience in coaching project team members to strengthen their abilities and efficiencies
