Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Glass Installer – Glazier perform some or all of the following duties:
• Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements.
• Cut, assemble, fit, and attach metal-framed glass enclosures for showers, bathtubs, display cases, skylights, solariums, and other structures.
• Measure and mark outlines or patterns on glass to indicate cutting lines.
• Score glass with cutters' wheels, breaking off excess glass by hand or with a notching tool.
• Confer with customers to determine project requirements and provide cost estimates.
• Cut & Remove broken glass pieces to install replacement glass.
• Perform glass repair and replacement as required.
• Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products on walls, ceilings, or exteriors of the building.
