Job Description:
Responsibilities include:
• Determine portion sizes and associated costs
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare dishes for customers and also prepare dishes for food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling (if needed)
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Oversee kitchen operations
Experience Level: Three years of Previous Work Experience in a Commercial Cooking Setting Required
Education:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Vacation: 10 business days
