We are seeking a Retail Sales Supervisor to lead our showroom team and ensure smooth operations while maintaining our reputation for excellence.
Job Duties:
• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of sales staff in the showroom.
• Assign tasks to team members, prepare work schedules, and manage showroom operations efficiently.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Authorize and process payments, exchanges, and returns as per company policies.
• Oversee inventory levels, place orders, and ensure timely restocking of merchandise.
• Maintain the showroom’s cleanliness, visual presentation, and displays to reflect company standards.
• Train new sales staff on company policies, customer service expectations, and product knowledge.
• Monitor team performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional growth.
• Prepare reports on sales performance, product merchandising, and employee-related matters.
• Perform key-holder responsibilities, including opening and closing the showroom and managing daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school.
• Knowledge of construction-related projects and being able to read blueprints.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Knowledge of flooring products and materials is an asset but not mandatory.
