AAA111 Insulation Ltd. is a leading insulation contractor based in Surrey, BC. From installation to repair and maintenance, we offer a wide range of insulation solutions tailored to meet your specific needs and budget. We are looking to hire 2 permanent full time Insulators as soon as possible.
Job Duties include:
• Select type of insulation required
• Measure and cut insulating materials to required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods
• Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
• Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
• Brush waterproofing cement or other material over insulating materials
• Fabricate and apply removable insulation pads and covers
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
• Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
• Estimate costs and materials
Employment Requirements:
• The positions require a related experience of 1 to 2 years.
• Minimum Secondary (high) school graduation Certificate is required.
• Ideal candidates should be organized, team player and reliable with good communication skills.
• The position is physically demanding and requires handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling and manual dexterity.
• The candidate may be required to work in noisy, dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, confined spaces and outdoor.
Work Settings: construction, repair, commercial, installation, residential.
Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning and daytime. These are full time (40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $34.62/Hour.
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
