Akari Japanese Restaurant is seeking a qualified Restaurant Manager to join our team.
Position: Restaurant Manager

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hourly Wage: C$34.65
Working Hours: 30 hours per week
Benefit: 10 days of paid vacation per year or 4% of gross salary for vacation pay
Work Location: Delta, BC
Qualifications:
- Completion of secondary school is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the food service sector, including experience in a supervisory role, is required.
- Serving-it-Right certificate is required.
- Language of Work: English
Job Duties:
- Oversee daily shift operations and ensure customer service excellence and the restaurant’s profits
- Manage, train and support the team, fostering a professional work environment
- Monitor work flow and staff performance
- Implement company policies and operational procedures
- Manage inventory, order supplies and minimize waste
- Assist in recruiting and scheduling, and maintain strong collaboration between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
- Ensure staff compliance with service standards, policies, and health and safety regulations
- Address and resolve any customer concerns professionally
