Terms and Conditions:
Permanent, Full-Time (30-40 hours/week). Hours are weather-dependent as summers are busier than winters.
Morning: 4 am starts, potential 3:30 am starts
Salary: $18.50 per hour. Salary increases as per company policy (annual increase of 5% per year)

Language: English
Education/Experience: Completion of a commercial baking program. Some experience in commercial baking in lieu of training may be considered.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Standing for extended periods; Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Work under pressure; Attention to detail; Physically demanding; Up to 50 lbs of weight to carry.

Work Setting: Bakery.
Duties:
Bake a wide range of bakery items for our ice cream products, such as cookies, brownies, cakes, caramels, sponge toffee
Collaborate with the research and development team to develop new baked inclusions for our ice cream flavors
Ensure all baked goods meet quality standards for freshness and taste.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to ensure continuous production.
Operate and maintain baking equipment, troubleshooting any issues with minimal downtime.
Participate in quality assurance processes and adjust recipes or techniques as required.
Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of baked goods for ice cream production.
