City Air Duct Cleaners Inc. located at 9772 Still Creek Avenue, Burnaby, BC V3J 1C8, is a well-established commercial/industrial air duct cleaning company, proudly serving the community for over 20 years. We specialize in air duct and ventilation cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking three (3) experienced and dedicated Cleaning Supervisors to join our team. The wage is $34.62 to $43.52/hour depending on experience and working an average of 30 hours per week. The ideal candidates will be dedicated, honest, self-motivated and have a strong work ethic. Knowledge of HVAC systems or previous ventilation cleaning experience is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Supervise and co-ordinate crews of air duct/ventilation cleaning technicians and labourers
• Clean ducts, vents and duct systems for residential and commercial buildings/using hand tools, air tools, vacuums and negative air machines.
• Inspect sites to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Ensure crew members wear personal protective equipment when required (hard hat, gloves, safety vests)
• Recommend and arrange for additional services required such as repair work and/or equipment upgrades
• Ensure quality of work meets or exceeds company standards
• Train and on-site supervision of cleaning technicians
• Receive payment for residential cleaning jobs
Requirements
• 1 to 2 years previous supervisory experience
• Ability to work in confined, dusty spaces
• Ability to work safety and comfortably off a ladder or on a roof (32 to 40 foot ladder work )
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to use basic hand tools, drills
• Ability to work comfortably indoors and outdoors
Beneficial to have:
• First Aid training
• Boom and Scissor Lift Certificate
• Fall Protection
• Confined Space Training
• Ability to read blueprints
