Job Duties:
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning and treating them through methods like scraping, sanding, sandblasting, hydro-blasting, and steam cleaning. Remove old paint and wallpaper, fix wall imperfections such as cracks and holes, sand the surface, and apply primer or sealer.
• Review work specifications to identify the required quantity of materials.
• Set up and install scaffolding and swing stages as needed for the job.
• Mix and dilute paint to achieve the desired color and consistency.
• Apply paint, stains, varnishes, enamels, oils, fire retardants, metal coatings, or fiberglass using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• May carry out additional related tasks as required.
Job Requirements:
• Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Hand-eye co-ordination. Repetitive tasks. Standing for extended periods. The applicants must be physically fit.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year.
