Job Description:
Creativeguys Construction Ltd. located at 12032 92A Ave, Surrey, BC, V3V 1J7 urgently require two Permanent & Full Time Carpenter. We welcome and encourage Youth, New immigrants, and Aboriginal people to apply.
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Maintain, repair and renovate wooden structures in residential & commercial establishments.
• Build foundations and beams, lay subflooring, erect, walls, operate hand & power tools etc.
• Supervise other workers.
Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in the relevant field is required.
Language: English is required.
Number of Positions: 2
Wage: $35.00 per hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% Vacation Pay.
