Responsibilities
Tasks
· The day-to-day management of the lift operations team, making sure all staff are
assigned roles and all daily duties are completed to a high standard.
· The hiring and training of a diverse team of Lift Operators and Lift Supervisors.
· Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure clean and safe work environment.
· Responsible for implementing procedures which will maintain a high level of service and minimize labour costs.
· Tracking employee work hours and approving payroll. Conduct and document regular safety team meetings.
· Ensure a high level of customer service is provided to guests at all times and respond to customer complaints.
· Oversee two additional sub-departments: Ticket checking and Parking lots. Work with Lift Maintenance Tearn to ensure issues are resolved when they arise.
· Provide constructive feedback and training to lift operators when needed along with
implementing any disciplinary action required.
· Attend monthly leadership team meetings as required.
· Perform employee performance reviews to identify trends and recommend improvements.
· Provide training for all staff on guest service etiquette, safety, and how to respond in emergency situations.
· Oversee snow removal at all lift stations
· Ensure staff follow Norquay uniform policy at all times, including assigning jackets at the beginning of.the season and returning them at the end of the season
· Maintain paperwork related to the lifts, including logs, employee docs, incident/WCB forms, accident investigations etc.
· Good written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy Ability to interpret and
