Position: Registered Massage Therapist (RMT)

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $54,600 annually ($35.00 CAD/hour)
Hours: 30 hours per week (evenings and weekends as required)

Job Duties:
• Conduct client assessments through Health History and Entrance Forms, interviews, gait and posture analysis, range of motion testing, muscle assessments, and clinical observation.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on client needs, therapeutic goals, and preferences.
• Clearly communicate treatment procedures, expected outcomes, benefits, alternative options, and potential risks to clients.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic massage techniques such as deep tissue, therapeutic, prenatal, hot/cold stone massage, and cupping to support physical function and relieve pain.
• Provide personalized home care advice including posture correction, mobility enhancement, stretching routines, ergonomic suggestions, and rehabilitative exercises.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with CMTO regulations and clinic policies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to deliver integrated, coordinated care.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment, adhering to hygiene and infection prevention protocols.

Education: Completion of a college diploma in massage therapy or a related program
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience as a Registered Massage Therapist
Certifications:
• Must be registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
• Must hold valid professional liability insurance
• Must be eligible for billing through all major insurance providers
