Kitchen Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff by scheduling and assigning duties
• Ensure standards of food quality, presentation and operations are met
• Record inventories, sales, wastes and write-ups of any issues and be prepared to report to manager if necessary
• Be thoroughly knowledgeable and available to answer any questions regarding the specific dishes or menus
• Monitor and maintain records of stock, sales, repairs and wastage for modifying procedures and estimating costs for efficient and profitable operation
• Prepare order summaries and reports
• Train new staff in their duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
Requirements:
• 3+ years’ experience
• College education in hospitality, food service, business or relevant fields or equivalent experience
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Well-organized, able to multi-task and self-motivated
Working Condition:
• Work activities will require evening and weekend
