Wildwood Masonry located at 875 Bayside Drive, Saint John, New Brunswick, E2L 3V9 is seeking an experienced Bricklayer for a full-time permanent position starting in September 2025 for work on various projects throughout New Brunswick and possibly Nova Scotia.
We complete various projects within:
• New Construction
• Repair
• Commercial
• Industrial
• Inspection
• Restoration
Tasks
• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
• Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects
• Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools
• Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Set up machines and equipment
• Supervise labourers when required
Requirements:
• 5 years experience as a certified bricklayer laying brick, block, or stone masonry units
• Trade certificate or diploma
• Bricklayer Trade Certification / Bricklayer Red Seal Certificate
• Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
• Working at heights training
• English language proficiency
• Valid driver's licence
• Willing to travel
• Have own tools, steel-toed safety boots, hard hat and safety glasses/goggles
• Able to work under pressure
• Organized and a team player
• Reliable and available to work from 07:30 to 16:30
This position requires travel to work sites throughout New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
