KT Contracting provides a range of services for homeowners to maintain their gutter systems including cleaning, repair, replacement, installation, and expert advice to prevent clogging and water damage to homes and improve drainage capacity, and enhance the appearance of homes.
We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our enthusiastic team.
Job Duties:
- Read drawings and sketches to meet the project’s requirements.
- Install, cut, trim, shape, assemble, join wood, wood substitutes, and fabricated replacement trim and moldings.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to fabricate and assemble components.
- Assist with constructing, repairing or renovating wooden concrete forms or different establishments.
- Inspect materials and structures to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Perform repairs on roofing elements, gutter systems, and framing affected by water damage.
- Construct and install roof trusses, and other framing components.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with building codes and occupational health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Completion of high school (preferred).
- 2- 3 years Carpentry experience.
- Certification in carpentry is an asset.
- Flexible hours including weekends.
- Physically demanding.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions (extreme weather).
- Availability to work at heights is an asset.
