Responsibilities of Cabinet Installer:
Blueprint Analysis: Carefully examine blueprints or work order specifications to understand layout and installation procedures, ensuring accurate placement of cabinetry and related fixtures within the long-term care facility or multi-residential construction project.
Measurement and Marking: Take precise measurements and mark guidelines for installations, ensuring that cabinetry and fixtures are installed securely and in accordance with design specifications and building codes.
Installation of Interior Prefabricated Products: Install, repair, and service interior prefabricated products such as doors, windows, kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities, water heaters, and household appliances using a variety of hand and power tools, ensuring functionality and aesthetics meet the needs of residents.
Installation of Exterior Prefabricated Products: Install, repair, and service exterior prefabricated products such as siding, shutters, awnings, fencing, decks, septic and irrigation systems, signs, and play structures, paying special attention to durability and weather resistance in multi-residential constructions.
Quality Workmanship: Perform installations with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that all cabinetry and fixtures are securely mounted and aligned to enhance the overall appearance and functionality of the long-term care facility or multi-residential building.
Utilization of Hand and Power Tools: Utilize a wide range of hand and power tools proficiently to complete installations efficiently and accurately, minimizing disruptions and ensuring timely completion of construction projects.
Repair and Maintenance: Conduct repairs and service as needed for both interior and exterior prefabricated products, addressing any issues promptly to maintain the safety and functionality of the long-term care facility or multi- residential construction.
Adherence to Safety Regulations: Adhere to safety regulations and protocols at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for oneself and others involved in the construction process, particularly crucial in environments where vulnerable populations reside.
Skills and Qualifications:
Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work order specifications accurately to determine installation procedures and layout requirements.
