Twin Lakes Market is a one-stop shop located in Kaleden, BC. We have Gasoline, Diesel, Propane, Liquor, Local produce, confectionery, and ice-cream.
We are looking for one energetic individual as a Bakery Supervisor for our site located at 1066 Hwy 3A, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0. The position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Bakery Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the bakery while performing all duties described below:
Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
Bake mixed dough and batters
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
Ensure that the quality of products meets established standards
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Operate machinery
Organize and maintain inventory
Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units
Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers
Requirements:
1-2 years of retail baking experience.
Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively
Basic math skills to handle cash and financial reports
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma
Specific Skills:
Determine staffing requirements; Manage staff and assign duties; Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages; Recruit, hire and/or volunteers; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

What we offer:
$20.00/hr
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
