Twin Lakes Market is a one-stop shop located in Kaleden, BC. We have Gasoline, Diesel, Propane, Liquor, Local produce, confectionery, and ice-cream.
We are looking for one energetic individual as a Retail Supervisor for our site located at 1066 Hwy 3A, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0. The position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the store while performing all duties described below:
Report readings to the fuel delivery company from the Veeder Report system.
Ensure regular delivery of all types of fuel, propane (Regular, Mid-Grade, Premium, & Diesel).
Prepare and distribute weekly work schedules for staff.
Assist store manager in recruitment and training of employees and report performance for new employees to the store manager.
Conduct staff meetings to ensure easy and timely workflow.
Train employees in and perform conflict resolution wherever necessary.
Prepare sales report on daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Ensure smooth operation of POS system, debit and credit machines and reconciliation of CRND system at day-end.
Ensure all products in store are fresh and authorize return of expired products to vendors.
Ensure maintenance of facia, signage, and cleanliness as per company standards.
Follow and ensure the store guidelines are met at all times (Respecting others, being accountable, working as a team, Having fun at what we do!)
Oversee and supervise retail staff, including cashiers, and people working on the floor.
Ensure safety protocols are in place and followed by all staff.
Ensure health standards are met.
Maintain inventory and ensure store items are in stock (Retail store, Gasoline, Propane).
Requirements:
1-2 years of retail experience and/or customer service experience.
Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English effectively
Basic math skills to handle cash and financial reports
Minimum education requirement: High School Diploma

Determine staffing requirements; Manage staff and assign duties; Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages; Recruit, hire and/or volunteers; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

What we offer:
$28.00/hr
4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
