Twin Lakes Market is a one-stop shop located in Kaleden, BC. We have Gasoline, Diesel, Propane, Liquor, Local produce, confectionery, and ice-cream.
We are looking for one energetic individual as a Retail Store Manager for our site located at 1066 Hwy 3A, Kaleden, BC V0H 1K0. The position is full time with 8 hours a day/40 hour a week. As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible to oversee the Gas Station, Bakery as well as the Liquor Store while performing all duties described below:
• Develop and implement Marketing Strategies
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations of the business
• Plan budgets and keep track of revenues and expenditures
• Maintain inventory controls for products
• Promotes general discipline within work area
• Provide quality service to customers and resolve customer complaints
• Coordinate with vendors and place orders for supplies according to the sales and demand
• Implement proper display, management and tagging of merchandise
• Prepare monthly financial and sales reports
• Prepare monthly sales achievement and out of stock reports
• Ensure quality standards and compliances with safety regulations
• Evaluate and improve customer service and respond to customer requests and issues
• Address staffing requirements, including the hiring, development and retention of staff
• Follow and ensure the store guidelines are met at all times (Respecting others, being accountable, working as a team, Having fun at what we do!)
• Oversee and supervise retail staff, including cashiers, and people working on the floor.
• Ensure safety protocols are in place and followed by all staff.
• Ensure health standards are met.
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of previous retail supervisory or management experience
• Availability to work a variety of hours, which may include weekends, evenings, early morning shifts and holidays
• Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English effectively
• Basic math skills to handle cash, complete financial reports
• Completion of High School or Diploma required

Determine staffing requirements; Manage staff and assign duties; Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages; Recruit, hire and/or volunteers; Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations; Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

What we offer:
• $35.50 per hour
• 4% Vacation pay of the gross salary will be paid each pay period
• Terms of Employment: Permanent Full-time position
