Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Senior Full Stack Software Developer to lead the maintenance and enhancement of complex, proprietary software systems that support key business intelligence and survey analytics functions. This is a specialized, high-responsibility role that combines deep technical expertise with business insight and collaborative problem-solving. The successful candidate will support a suite of internal applications while working across a variety of modern tools and platforms, including Tableau, Okta, and survey management systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain custom full-stack software solutions tailored to internal business workflows and reporting systems.
• Extend business intelligence dashboards and survey tools (e.g., Tableau, Forsta) through custom scripting, APIs, and systems integration.
• Configure and manage identity and access management protocols using Okta or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
• Optimize data access through advanced SQL queries and database architecture design.
• Lead enhancements to CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, and Git.
• Perform peer code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Ensure technical and procedural compliance with security standards and privacy regulations (including GDPR).
Essential Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in full-stack software development.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced proficiency with: Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate; Modern front-end libraries (e.g., Angular, Bootstrap), JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3; Relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Experience configuring CI/CD environments and automated deployments.
• Proven track record integrating business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau) and survey platforms.
• Proficiency in Linux development environments.
• Experience implementing secure web systems with attention to data privacy and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Familiarity with GDPR, PIPEDA, and secure software design principles.
• Strong understanding of internet architecture, networking, and IAM systems.
• Prior experience coordinating with external technical vendors.
