Is seeking ten long haul truck drivers. Start date as soon as possible.
Salary $30.00 / hour or 48 cents per mile, whichever is higher
40-50 hours per week. (Full-time, permanent)
Requirements:
Completion of high school (secondary school)
No experience required. Experience is an asset.
Must be able to communicate in English.
Must be able to provide Class 1 driving license and air brakes endorsement.
Must be able to handle up to 50 lbs.
The worker will perform the following job duties:
Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
Perform emergency roadside repairs
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
