Compensation: $33/hour for 35 hours per week
Location: St. John’s, NL

In the role of Administrative Officer, the candidate will be responsible for:
• Conduct, examine and improve administrative procedures
• Assign work to office support staff
• Determine priorities, enforce deadlines, and standardize procedures
• Perform administrative tasks of the agency
• Cooperate with customer service clerks to facilitate daily operations of the agency, including but not limited to customer bookings, travel itineraries, and organizing travel documentation
• Direct promotional activities, such as distributing marketing materials, updating social media, and participating in travel fairs or promotional events
• Administer office services, including but not limited to assigning parking lots, overseeing maintenance and security services
• Analyze and manage budgeting, contracting and project planning and management processes
• Gather data to help track company expenditures and budgets
• Organize company documentation through sorting, filing, and delivering of documents
• Manage employee records and maintain an employee database
• Assist in staff training and scheduling
• Oversee payroll administration

To be successful in this role, you will need:
• High school graduation is required, college program is a plus
• 2 years of prior work experience
• Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Oral-communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective written-communication skills
• Conflict resolution skills
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail
• Organization and reliability
