Responsibilities
Tasks
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Assist in developing programs of sampling and analysis to maintain quality standards
Assist in development of standards, health and safety measures
Develop and conduct programs of sampling and analysis
Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
Advise supervisors of ingredient or product deficiencies
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
Design and develop equipment and procedures for the processing, storage, packaging and handling of food products
Provide advice in the area of food preparation and storage, and food safety
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Ensure that local health and sanitation regulations are carried out
