Food Services Manager
We are looking for a well experienced Food Services Manager for The Grocery Store located at 4211 Village Square Whistler, BC V8E 1H4 Canada.

JOB DUTIES:
Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the daily operations of the food service department, with a focus on efficient preparation and service of takeout meals for grocery store customers.
Oversee the ordering and maintenance of inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies, ensuring the availability of fresh ingredients for high-quality takeout options. Monitor stock levels, track usage, and ensure timely replenishment while minimizing waste.
Ensure that food preparation, packaging, and presentation adhere to established standards of quality, hygiene, and safety, optimizing processes for quick and convenient takeout service.
Conduct regular inspections, implement sanitation procedures, and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in food packaging and handling for takeout orders.
Interact with customers to address concerns, gather feedback, and enhance their takeout experience by offering convenient, well-packaged, and appealing meal options.
Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, setting work schedules and monitoring performance to ensure efficiency in food prep, packaging, and order fulfillment.
Monitor financial performance, analyze sales trends in takeout meal purchases, and adjust operational procedures to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts for high-quality ingredients and packaging materials suitable for takeout.
Participate in community initiatives and events, showcasing the grocery store’s takeout offerings and reinforcing its role as a convenient meal solution for customers.
Prerequisites:
Education: Secondary School Certificate or equivalent experience
Experience & Skills: 1 year to less than 2 years
Language: English
Hourly Rate: $ 34.62 to $ 38 per Hour for 30 to 40 Hours per week
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Terms of Employment: Fulltime and permanent
Benefits: 4 % vacation pay
