MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist in carrying out field surveys for topographic, cadastral, and engineering projects using GPS, total stations, drones, and other specialized surveying equipment.
• Take accurate measurements of distances, elevations, angles, and boundaries, and establish reference points, benchmarks, and property limits.
• Record, organize, and maintain survey data, field notes, and other related documentation.
• Perform survey calculations and process collected data to produce plans, profiles, and contour maps.
• Assist in preparing detailed drawings, charts, survey plans, and technical reports using CAD software and other digital mapping tools.
• Support the preparation and updating of geographic information system (GIS) data and 3D models.
• Ensure survey activities comply with legal, engineering, and environmental requirements.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, urban planners, and other stakeholders to ensure survey results meet project specifications.
• Verify the accuracy of survey measurements and calculations.
• Conduct site visits to confirm survey details and project adherence.
• Assist with scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring survey tasks and use of equipment.
• Maintain, adjust, and calibrate surveying instruments to ensure optimal performance.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A college diploma in Survey Science or Geomatics Technology is required
• A minimum of 2 years' related working experience.
