Position Overview:
Bolton Auto Collision is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, performing a wide range of welding tasks, and ensuring that all welds meet high-quality standards. This role requires precision, resourcefulness, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret welding process specifications accurately

Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, manuals, and process specifications

Examine welds to ensure compliance with required standards and specifications

Operate flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping and straightening machines

Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal as required

Determine weldability of different materials and adjust techniques accordingly

Operate brazing or soldering machines to bond metal or fill seams, holes, and indentations

Maintain welding, brazing, and soldering equipment, performing minor repairs as needed
