Job Description
· Respond to incoming calls, bathe, dress, and comb patients, serve food trays, feed patients, and help patients choose a suitable menu, help patients in moving and changing postures, shave patients before surgeries; help in exercise, escort patients for going out and perform all duties for their care and concerns
· Observe patients’ vital signs and weight
· Measure patients' blood pressure, temperature; notice fluid intake and output; keep up with patients' status and manage first aid; collect specimens such as urine or faeces and perform other procedures as instructed
· Carry patients by wheelchair or stretcher for medications or surgeries
· Send messages, reports, requisitions, and specimens to specific departments
· Organize patients’ room
· Maintain inventory of supplies
· Set-up and maintain traction equipment, clean, and sterilize equipment, repair equipment
· Take patients to different departments or facilities like labs, clinic, hospital, etc.
· Comply with all safety and health regulations

Responsibilities
Tasks
· Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities
· Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, setting up and assembling of medical equipment
· Assist with maintenance and repair of medical equipment
· Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort
· Perform other duties related to personal care
· Supply and empty bed pans
· Take patients' blood pressure, temperature and pulse
· Serve meal trays and feed patients
· Weigh, lift, turn and position patients
· Deliver messages, reports, requisitions and specimens between departments
· Make beds and maintain patients' rooms
· Supervise patients' exercise routines
· Maintain inventory of supplies
· Bathe, dress and groom patients
· Transport patients between care facilities
· Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher
· Answer call signals to determine patients' needs
· Collect specimens
· Prepare patients for surgery by washing, shaving and sterilizing operative areas
· Administer first aid in emergency situations
