Wise Choice Property Services is seeking an experienced Construction Site supervisor to join our expanding team of professionals. We are enthusiastic about finding the right person interested in working in our high-performance core values driven culture.

Education:at least secondary school or related field is an asset
Language:English
Salary:hourly wage of $26,work 35- 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year
Annual income: $47,320-$54,080
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Job duties:
• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of construction workers subcontractors and tradespeople (e.g. carpenters, electricians)
• Monitor work progress, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors, project managers, engineers and suppliers to align work with client expectations.
• Ensure work meets building codes, design specifications and company quality standards.
• Act as the primary on-site contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns promptly
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies and manage inventory
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Prepare work progress reports
• May also supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of related apprentices, helpers and labourers
Qualifications / Skills:
• 3-5 years proven working experience in construction with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Able to work well with a variety of people.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
• Able to prepare cost estimates, maintain production schedules, supervise staff, and work as part of a team.
• Prepared to keep up with new techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Physical stamina and good motor skills are necessary.
