Job Details:
The Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in the seamless coordination and scheduling of our staff and contractors across our diverse contracts. Catering primarily to our trike delivery operations, this role is integral in bridging our team's capabilities with our clients' requirements. Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for enhancing our team capacity, ensuring service excellence, and maintaining optimal client relations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule staff and contractors for our trike operations.
- Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure operations align with their expectations.
- Work closely with the COO on staff augmentation plans and hiring processes.
- Provide / Coordinate training for new contractors & staff.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics, making recommendations for improvements.
- Manage client relations, addressing concerns, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Proactively identify challenges in the operations workflow and implement solutions.
- Own and manage our day-to-day operations tracking documents.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated and efficient operations.
- Conduct regular team meetings to ensure all members are aligned with company objectives and client requirements.
- Ensure all operations adhere to industry regulations and company policies.
- Provide timely and accurate operational reports to senior management.
- Coordinates schedules and routes of other Zipply Delivery Specialists
- Develops standard operating procedures for Zipply Delivery Operations.
- Provide guidance and training to drivers on safe work practices and procedures.
- Conduct performance reviews of supervised workers.
Requirements:
- Experienced Operations Supervisor with background in efficiently managing logistics and delivery operations for companies utilizing fleets of electric bicycles.
- Focused on optimizing processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Experienced in process improvement methodologies, data analysis, and project management is desirable.
- Possesses leadership, strategic planning, team management, and problem-solving skills to maintain high performance standards and achieve objectives, adept at handling safety aspects and providing guidance to drivers on performing their duties safely.
- Completion of a post-secondary education program of two years or more in business, supply chain, production management, technology, or related to the area supervised is required.
- Two years of experience in the occupation supervised is required.
